Last summer at Penland, I made this partitioned hinged box, inspired by local flora on my daily morning walk. Ferns I gathered and copied (literally, on the color copier in the school store) got me started. I recently had some of my work professionally photographed by Jim Vecchione for an emerging artist residency application (big step!).
