While summer weather may not actually arrive here in England this year, there's plenty of daylight for long hours in the studio this time of year. Good thing, since there are lots of exciting things underway. Read on for all the details.
New Commission
We just shipped a new commission for the lovely team at Art and Artisans, our first for them. I'm not at liberty yet to share where this piece will call home, but watch this space for more images once the work is framed and installed.
More images and details are available in my online archive.
New Commission
We have been working steadily this month on a new commission for another mystery project, this one quite large at 4 x 6 feet in size.
Thanks to Pip Falkner-Lee for doing an amazing job on this one!
Wells Art Contemporary
As the emerging work via my studies develops, I have started entering competitive opportunities to see what kind of response it gets. I am aiming high – why not after all this? – which of course means plenty of rejections.
Nevertheless, she persists and some positive things are happening. My work was longlisted for the prestigious John Ruskin Prize, and the piece pictured here was selected for the Wells Art Contemporary (details below).
In reality, I'm just getting started with the new work, so this really is a long game. Join me via highlights posted under STUDIO on Instagram and on a new website for my emerging practice.
